When does registration end? 
Registration ends on Friday, Oct 29 at 5pm EST. You may send a note to crew@machik.org to be added to the waitlist. 

I am having trouble registering, what should I do?
Please use a laptop/desktop computer.  Use the web browser Google Chrome to register for Machik Fest.  If you do have Google Chrome yet, it is a free download.  It is also recommended you use an internet connection offering at least 25 Mbps download speed. If this does not solve the issue, please reach out to crew@machik.org. 

I have already registered but haven't received a confirmation email?
Please make sure to check your spam folder if you haven't received a confirmation email in your inbox. If you don't see anything in spam, please email us at crew@machik.org. For folks registering from India & Nepal, you will receive your confirmation email a short while after our volunteers confirm your payment of the registration fee. 

What does my registration fee include? 
Your registration fee provides full access to all programming during the 7-day Machik Fest (several dozens of speakers, panels, workshops, conversations, discussion groups and film screenings.

What if I do not attend the whole week, is there a discount price?
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer a different price for those who cannot attend the whole week. To participate in one event, you will need to pay the full registration fee. 

I cannot afford the ticket but I really wish to attend.
Thank you for your interest to participate in Machik Fest! We at Machik want to make sure that anyone facing economic challenges, especially during the global pandemic, can easily access the event. Please reach out at your earliest convenience to crew@machik.org with a brief note.  We look forward to seeing you there!

When will we know more about the program? 
We will provide more information on the program on the website on a rolling basis. Full detailed program information will be provided on October 27th. All information will be sent to the email address you used to register for the event.

What virtual platform is Machik using for the event? 
Machik Fest 2021 will be hosted on the Pheedloop platform. To learn more about Pheedloop, click here. 

What is Pheedloop? How do we use it? 
The Machik team has prepared a tipsheet (see above) for participants on how to use Pheedloop. Regarding technology, make sure to use the web browser Chrome to access Pheedloop. It is also recommended you use an internet connection offering at least 25 Mbps download speed.

Is there something I should do now to get ready to use Pheedloop?
Yes! To access Pheedloop, it is necessary to use Google Chrome as a browser. If you do not already have Chrome as a browser on your system, please make sure to install the free download prior to Machik Fest. For support or more information on this, contact us at crew@machik.org.
