In the fall of 2007, friends gathered in a crowded rowhouse in Washington DC for an impassioned day of conversation and reflection on the challenges of working inside Tibet in these troubled times.
It was the beginning of an annual tradition we call Machik Weekend.
In November 2013, we took our annual weekend of conversation to New York for the first time....
Last year, over 500 friends and supporters joined us over the weekend
to discuss possibilities for engagement in Tibetan communities making
a new milestone for Machik Weekend!
